Make English checkers in one HTML file, player against computer. Pieces move diagonally forward, captures are compulsory, multi-jumps must be completed, and reaching the far row crowns a king that moves both ways. Computer uses negamax with alpha-beta: 2, 4 or 7 moves deep by level, extending the search through capture sequences.

Claude wrote this game from a short brief like this one. It was then played, tested on phones and tuned before it went up here.

How to play

Move one square diagonally forward onto a dark square.
Jump over an opponent's piece to capture it. If you can capture, you must, and you keep jumping while you can.
Reach the far side to crown a king, which can move backwards too.
You win when the computer has no pieces or no moves left.
