Make Reversi in one HTML file, player against computer. 8×8 board, legal-move dots, disc flipping in all eight directions, automatic passes when a player has no move. Computer opponent with three levels: Easy plays loosely, Medium searches 3 moves ahead, Hard uses minimax with alpha-beta pruning 5 moves deep and values corners and mobility.

Claude wrote this game from a short brief like this one. It was then played, tested on phones and tuned before it went up here.

How to play

Place a disc so that one or more of the computer's discs sit in a straight line between your new disc and another of yours. They flip to your colour.
If you can't move, your turn passes.
When neither side can move, the player with more discs wins.
Corners can never be flipped, so they are worth fighting for.
